Christmas in review...

Alright, just so you know I am alive and well. Just been busier than usual, and now that Christmas is over I might get a chance to breathe! I thought I would sit here for a few minutes and tide you over with a quick review of the last week or so! Here are some things that happened:

Last week:

It actually snowed at our house! This is the result on Monday.

Then THIS happened on WEDNESDAY!

This week:

Saturday, while in town with family, we went ice skating. I found this little girl to skate with! It was Oh so fun!

Our version of the Nativity. Here are 2 angels, Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus, and a crawling animal.

A couple family parties later and we are back home Christmas morning:

Our tradition: Ebelskivers for breakfast!

Oh so YUMMY!

Now it's today:

Girls way into their new stuff. Mess all around.

Me, listening to my new awesome iPod.

While cleaning and washing bedding!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a happy cleaning!

Had a Bad Day....

***Warning*** Heroes spoiler alert ahead. (sorry Linds!) Although it may or may not be true.

I had a bad day yesterday. It all started when I had to take over when the receptionist had to leave at noon. Then went on with 4 days worth of mail to open. Then the non-stop phone calls. About 50 of those calls were "BEEP, BEEP" some stupid person was trying to send a fax and WOULD NOT give up! Packages were delivered, therefore leaving me no space on the desk. People kept coming and needing things signed and other stuff. I had to write 30 checks, initiating arthritis or carpel tunnel, whichever is more dramatic. When my replacement came in to relieve me I about started to cry, but didn't, and told her I had about killed myself. (I am not suicidal)

Then I get home and my kids are BUGGING me while I am trying to make dinner. The only redemption is that I did a good deed and took dinner to my friend who just moved. One kid decided that the only word she could say to me was "no" all night long (she's almost 8). She was already grounded, and I wanted to further her sentence indefinitely. Unfortunately my DH greatly discouraged that.

After the kids got to bed I folded 2 loads of laundry and cleaned 2 more. Then the WORST thing HAPPENED...

SYLER KILLED ELLE ON HEROES!!! Say what?

p.s. I had a much better day today. But was very clumsy. Just call me Bella, seriously I was THAT bad! Well I didn't get tracked by a blood crazed vampire, so I guess I wasn't THAT bad!

BIG NEWS....

It's OFFICIAL!!

(Source: http://www.summit-ent.com/)
SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES
TWILIGHT SEQUEL - NEW MOON

Los Angeles, CA November 22, 2008 — Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of its filmed franchise TWILIGHT, the action-packed, modern day vampire love story. The movie will be based on the second novel in author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series titled, New Moon. The first movie in the TWILIGHT franchise, the self-titled TWILIGHT, arrived in theaters this weekend to sold-out showings.

Stephenie Meyer stated, "I don't think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on NEW MOON."

***My thoughts on the movie may have to come tomorrow. I had to work today and I have TONZ of house work to do! Anyway that give Ace time to see the movie and not a chance I will corrupt her thoughts of the movie! (LOVE ya Ace!)

I'm hot...

Well, at least I'M GONNA BE!! Today I made a purchase for my Twilight movie ensemble! I found this shirt online and called the local store and they had it! My awesome friend from work even picked it up for me so I didn't have to drive all the way to the far mall with my kids! I am SO LUCKY! I have the shirt, I am most likely going to wear it with jeans. I will have my NEW black purse (right mylinda?), hmmm...I'm thinking some new shoes might be the next order of business! I AM SO EXCITED! Now keep in mind this is the least cheesiest shirt the store had! Some of them had writing on the whole back of the shirt. I think this was the best one. It also had the famous "3 things" and that is what Twilight is all about!

Close up of what the shirt says.

ONLY 8 DAYS!!

p.s. How COOL am I?

tagged again!

Mylinda tagged me! I think I may have done this one before, but I'm gonna do it now just for MY linda!

1. I burp all the time. They are LOUD too! I can't help it. I think there is something wrong with my stomach. I never drink anything that's carbonated, just a glass of water will do the trick.

2. I LOVE LOVVE LOVE Pride and Prejudice! The movies, the book, Mr. Darcy! I can't get enough of it!

3. I'm a little obsessed with all things Twilight. But that may be something that is obvious?

4. I cut my own hair most of the time. I did it when I was younger, and I still do it now. I'd say about every other haircut is done by me. It takes a long time, but I get the most compliments when I do it! Unless those are just pitty compliments cuz it looks horrible?

5. I am really good at figuring out problems, not mathematical, but life problems. I guess you could call me resourceful. At least I think I am?

6. I'm a singing fool. I sing in the shower, in the car, while I'm getting ready, you name it. I'm very good at memorizing songs, I just have to heard it once or twice and I know it!

7. I can't watch live TV. I have to DVR everything then watch it when it's at least halfway through. I CANNOT stand commercials! Although lately I have been able to catch the Twilight preview while I am skipping, then I stop and watch it and squeal and stuff. BTW have you seen all THREE different trailers? I HAVE! Try watching Gilmore Girls on ABC Family if you haven't. They show it at least 2 times during that show! I, personally, can't stand the one where they have the voice over, I now mute that one and just watch.

I tag....

Shameless Plugging...

This is dedicated to plugging some seriously AWESOME Stuff!

First, my D-S-I-L is doing a contest on her Quilt Blog. Check it OUT! I get entered twice for doing this! (How easy is that!) DSIL is a SUPER talented seamstress and is opening her own Esty shop!

Second, my uber talented and BEAUTIFUL cousin, has her own website where she sells things she makes and there are also other vendors that sell things on her site. All super cute stuff! In fact she is making me something (hopefully) this very moment! I will display is for everyone as soon as it is in my possession!

Last but certainly NOT least, the one and only ACE, has a great site that sells some FABULOUS items for your kiddos. It's mostly for babies, too bad for me, but good for you if you have one of those lying around!

Now only if I had some MOOLA lying around I could help out these gals by buying a ton of stuff from them. But that I do not, but their stuff is too cute to not share! Have fun lookin!

Accomplished...

Do you feel accomplished? What does that even mean? Well this week, my friends, I feel ACCOMPLISHED! Do you want to know why? Well I hope so, if you don't you better stop reading right now! This post is dedicated to myself and my accomplishments that have left me feeling accomplished.

I shall list for you the series of events that have made this possible:

#1. Book Club was at my house this week. Now on a normal month and normal book this would be a normal occurrence. THIS month was NOT a normal month, and NOT a normal book. We took off August, and so it has been a couple months since we have had BC, and the book was my beLOVEd Breaking Dawn! This was NO ordinary BC! (BTW after reading the book for a 3rd time I can now say I LOVE it! I didn't the first 2 times, I liked it, but now it has reached pure greatness, consult me if you need more info on that.) You can ask Ace, I have been preparing for this for a LONG time! I did vampire themed refreshments, and my house was beautiful (downstairs at least!) and I also made a trivia to cover all 4 books! That last part alone took me at least 2 hours of work! Also I had to make up my own for BD, as the only questions I found online were for the first 3 books only. After everyone left that night and I cleaned up everything, I was left with the A* feeling.

#2. Window treatments- check! I have been meaning to get my windows "treated" in my dining nook and kitchen for a long time now. I even picked out the fabric, a feat itself, at least 3 months ago. My goal was to have them done by BC so they could be admired by people, not that many people come to my house (I only wish I was popular). My BFF D helped me out with the idea and she hung up my hardware, oh and she did one of the ties, other than that it was ALL ME! The reason I feel A* for this is because I am one of those sewers that learned by being told every move to make. Following a pattern is even confusing! Even though these were pretty straightforward I was on my own figuring out how to do them. I won't go on, you can see them for yourself!
Dining Nook

Close up.

Here's my rug that's in there just so you can see that the fabrics fit in with it! It played a major role in the fabric and color decision making.

Kitchen window.

Now all I need it to actually hang pictures and stuff on my walls! It's only been a year since we moved into this brand new house! I just have a real hard time putting holes in my unholy walls!

#3. This last reason I didn't physically do, but it still leaves me feeling A*. Even though I didn't physically do it, I have worked on it mentally and I have spent a lot of time with on prepetory work on it. The "it" I am talking about is my back yard! Now it's not completely done yet, so I have a picture to tease you with, but I will do a real one when it's done.

I played around with my picture program and this is the picture negative. I thought it was fun.

There you have it folks. The 3 things that make me feel accomplished this week! What makes you feel accomplished?

(*Accomplished- as if you didn't figure that out yourself!)

ConFIDence....

"Oh, I must stop these doubts, all these worries
If I don't I just know I'll turn back
I must dream of the things I am seeking
I am seeking the courage I lack

The courage to serve them with reliance
Face my mistakes without defiance
Show them I'm worthy
And while I show them
I'll show me

So, let them bring on all their problems
I'll do better than my best
I have confidence they'll put me to the test
But I'll make them see I have confidence in me

I have confidence in sunshine
I have confidence in rain
I have confidence that spring will come again
Besides what you see I have confidence in me!"

This is how I feel! I feel like Maria when she decided she had confidence in herself! See below:

Why do I feel this way you ask? Well the reason is that after starting a new job and trying to learn everything I decided that this is my theme song! Let me first explain a little what I am doing to clarify it in your mind. I am working at a law firm. My job title is project assistant/ back-up receptionist. I started 1 week and a half ago, but have only actually worked 5 days total. Today was my 5th day and I have only been training with the receptionist. Now let me tell you, I have a new found respect for people who answer phones all day! We have 26+ attorneys with lots of secretaries for them. We have a handful each of project assistants, and runners. The front desk answers all the phone calls and has to direct them accordingly. Not only do I answer all the phone calls, but I have to sort all the mail, accept all the faxes and sent them out to who they need to go to, enter in costs, write checks (I wrote at least 10 in the 3 hours I was there), adjusts costs, give money to the runners, etc. I about died the first day when the receptionist (I'll call her Ann) told me the next phone call was mine! Ann has been doing this for 15 years, and does it all without thinking! Fast forward to today, I FINALLY get the hang of pretty much everything! I didn't get all nervous every time the phone rang, there were even a few times when 3 or more lines were ringing and I handled them beautifully! I entered in at least 50 pages of costs with ease. I wrote checks in an exquisite manner. After I had been there today for over an hour I turned to Ann and said, "I think I've finally got it!"

"Besides what you see I have confidence in me!"

Waaa.....

If you couldn't tell the subject line is me- BAWLING! I've been a WRECK today! My baby child just went to school for the first time today. It's FULL DAY school! It's been over 7 years since I have been alone without any child home with me! I'm going a little nutso! No worries, here is what I've done:

I cleaned my outside garbage can with soap and the hose.
I washed the sheets on my bed.
I checked my email about 3 times.
I realized after the first time, that I was STARVING! It was 10:30 and I had forgotten breakfast.
I ate leftover peach cobbler I made last night. Too late for a real meal.
I watched the latest episode of Gilmore Girls while I ate yummy food.
I went to the Ped. office to give them info to get my girls' records from another office.
I sent my shade shirt back that was defective.
I did call the Shade people before I went on my 2 little errands.
I had a LOVEly Google chat with my GREAT friend Mich. (say MEESH)
Now I am typing this here.

Here is on the agenda for the rest of the afternoon:
Go eat a normal meal for lunch, although Peach cobbler is sounding very good right now...
GO to JoAnn Fabrics and buy materials to make 3 valances for my dining nook and kitchen windows.
Hopefully by the time I roll back from there I can go pick up my DARLING kiddos from SCHOOL!
Then we will have a pool party at my pool with friends to celebrate accomplishing the first day!
After that I may have to go to work. :(

Then I get to start again tomorrow! Oh but tomorrow I will have sewing to look forward to! I LOVE sewing! It should help keep me calm.

Breaking Dawn Party....

As you all know I was very thrilled for the release of Breaking Dawn. I was lucky enough to be able to go to the midnight party at Borders with my long time good friend Ace! Our friend Jamie also came, who I haven't seen since high school graduation! It was so good to see both of them! We did feel a little strange around the throng of little squealing teenage girls. We ended up hiding in the corner of the children's books section and just chatting.

Ace and I after she helped me answer a trivia question. We both won a rose and stickers. Jamie was satisfied with us sharing a sticker with her.

Me, Jamie, and Ace!

Ace and I, here you can see the cute shirt I got! (We go together like Chocolate and Vanilla!) Ace, have I told you lately that I love you? p.s. notice there are boys behind me. I think they were there to get some girls! Although there were some there that did want the book!

Here is a picture of the madness after midnight struck and the lines started forming.

Last, but certainly not least- My gorgeous SIL, she came to support me and get her book also. She kept on saying "I can't believe I came here!" She felt silly, and I documented that she came, so she can remember how she felt that night!

Overall the night was totally worth it. I am so glad I went, even though I felt silly at times. I had so much fun chatting with my girls and then getting my book. Oh and I have to also document that right when the books went on sale we noticed something was happening up front. After watching for a sec we realized that a girl was getting proposed to! The guy seemed to be dressed like Edward, and he got down on one knee, she said yes and then they made out in front of everyone. I was not so thrilled about this blessed event as it pretty much halted the book buying, therefore making me wait even longer! Oh well, I hope that couple will be very happy together!

The End

For Your Information...

I just got back from an extra long vacation and I am having a hard time getting back to the land of the living. I have a ton of things to catch up on. School starts in less than 2 weeks! I'm trying to get me a job, well one that will give me more than 8 hours a week. I need to get my back yard landscaped ASAP! I need to get back into gear at the gym. I have my church calling to do stuff for. AHHHH!! I'm going just a little insane, but that's ok. Oh and I also have a lot of sleeping to catch up on, and that's not happening as much as I want it to!

So please bear with me as I try to get my mind and body into gear! I will have my review on Breaking Dawn and more of my thoughts on other things hopefully soon!

Workcation?

Last week I made an 8 hour trek in the car with the kiddos to visit my sister (8 hours there, 8 hours back!). My sister is a CRAZY fool (you know you are:P) and just had her third baby. Her other children are boy 3, boy 1, now baby girl currently one month old. Like I said she's a crazy fool! So being the good sister I am I came to help her out. I grocery shopped, cooked, cleaned, drove us around with FIVE kids, etc. Oh and I also got to hold this:

I just think that she is the SWEETEST thing! But it does help that I am her aunt and she is my only niece (from my side of the fam). Oh and here is a picture of the quilt she is laying on that I made, all by myself!

It's a little wrinkly from the traveling it did, but you get the idea of it. Hmmm...I think I need to show you a close up, you know, just so you can get the full detail of the quilt:
Yes that is definitely better!

p.s. 10 more DAYS!

Things...

I have some things I want to say:

#1 BREAKING DAWN IN 20 DAYS!

#2 I am doing SO WELL at working out! I went to the gym 4 days this week!

#3 Why do people not comment on my posts? I see that I get a lot of views but only very few comments! (Thank you to those that DO comment!) You don't HAVE to comment, but it would be nice if you did every once in awhile. Seriously, I had 19 views just yesterday and NO comments from any of those 19! Even if you comment to tell me that my post is not worthy of being commented on, that would be nice! At least I know that I am lame, well I guess I sort of already know that!

#4 I HATE Mario Cart for the Wii! The hubs has played it WAY too much and I am about to throw the disk away! (For real!)

#5 I've been working a lot this week, a lot is 15 hours worked after Sunday night. It's nice to make money and feel like you are contributing to the family.

#6 My mother-in-law, grandma-in-law, and 2 BFF's made my birthday GREAT! Well in the present department which was DEFINITELY lacking! I will be making a nice SHADE purchase sometime today!

#7 Hey, Ace, if you get bored you can make me a new blog background! No worries though, I still like this one.:)

My TV wierdness...

Can I tell you how much I do not like summer Television? Well there is one exception, I will get to that later on. Since there is hardly anything to watch and I like to watch things I have had to lower my standards and watch things I wouldn't normally watch.

The first show I watched was The Bachelorette. A couple Bachelor seasons ago Deanna Pappas got her heart broken by Brad Womack, when he actually ended up not picking ANY of the girls in the end! Deanna ended up being the new Bachelorette and it was her turn to beak some hearts! The first episode I watched I thought that Jason was definitely good looking and I wanted him to go to the end. Well he did he got to the final two. But who does she end up picking? Jesse? I was like WHOA! Well turns out they are "in love" engaged and going to be "married" sometime. I really do wish them luck. It is so sad how these people do this show and all but one of these couples (Trista and Ryan) are actually still together. Oh and the last couple (Matt and Shayne). It is also sad that I know so much about this show!

The next show I have been having to watch is I survived a Japanese Game Show. This show is crazy, and the contestants on there are not the brightest of people. First of all to sign on to do a competition that you have NO IDEA what the competition entails!? Seriously! They get flown to Japan and walk into a dark studio and it ends up being a game show in progress. They have to so all these crazy stunts and in the end of each episode someone is kicked off .

I have also been watching reruns of Gilmore Girls on ABC Family, the season with MILO! Oh he is SO DeliSH! I set my DVR to record them in the morning then I watch them later on. Another rerun show I have been watching is What I Like About You. Is there anyone who watched that show? Dan Cortese is on it and he is pretty darn cute if I do say so myself!

The only show I am proud to say I watch is SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE! I LOVE this show! The kiddos love it too. My favorite dance so far is the one that Chelsie and Marc did to "Bleeding Love". I was really getting sick of hearing that song, but after seeing THIS dance it is what I see when I hear the song now! Seriously if you don't watch this show you BETTER START TONIGHT! Yessireebob it is on tonight on Fox at 8:00 (well for me anyway). Thursday nights 2 people get eliminated. This one was pretty good too. Oh and you should watch this one too while you are at it!

Sorry this was full of links! Just be sure you at least click and watch my FAVE SYTYCD dances!

It was a Ped Egg Father's Day!

My older child has been telling us lately about this awesome thing called the "Ped Egg". "We REALLY need to get this for daddy" I was firmly told a few days ago. Well our daddy really has some super duper dry and cracked heels so I decided to do a little research on this product. I did a google search and found some news stations had did a "Try before you buy" sort of segment and tried out the Ped Egg. I watched 2 different ones and they both had the same conclusion: The Ped Egg does pretty much what it says it does! WOW! I decided that we would indeed have to make this little purchase at Bed Bath & Beyond for $9.99!

Let us fast forward to just a few hours ago when the Ped Egg was first used. Do you think that daddy can successfully reach the bottoms of his feet to use the Ped Egg? Well, dear friends, the answer is NO! I HAD TO DO IT FOR HIM! I got the LOVELY privilege of scraping his nasty heels for at least 10 minutes! I have to say they are a bit more improved, but I think the stage his feet were in were a little too much for the little Ped Egg. We will continue to use it, wait, I mean I will continue to use it for HIM, then I will let you know if it really does make an improvement!

Tune in to next time when I show you how big my guns are for using my arm muscles so much to scrape my hubby's heels!

Sick as a dog....

***WARNING: This blog contains graphic descriptions of bodily functions of the human body. That's me a couple days ago. I am still not feeling so great but good enough to let you know why I have been absent from the blogging world for so long. On Tuesday night I had a meeting at 7:00(p.m.). While at this meeting I started feeling a bit nauseated, I decided to go to the bathroom and sure enough I threw up. I actually felt better after that but then it just got worse. Before I left my meeting I did some more damage in the toilet, then I rushed home and begged my insides to stay put for a couple minutes! By next morning I had thrown up at least 10 times. To make things worse it started coming out the other end in the morning and at one point both ends at the SAME TIME! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? That's what I kept thinking to myself! The last time I threw up was around 6:00p.m. Wednesday. Food consumed that day: 5 crackers, half banana, half smoothie, all which was later unconsumed. Yesterday was my youngest child's birthday! Could I make it a memorable day for her-NO! Luckily I have great friends that have been helping me the last couple days and one of them took over my role yesterday and made a fun day for my child! Food consumed yesterday: 20 crackers, 1/4 cup applesauce, 4 noodles from a pasta salad Joy brought us. As you can tell the food consumed is not so much, which leads to a body not very strong and energized. Today I am going to EAT! I have to! So far I've eaten one whole piece of whole wheat toast! Oh and a half of a banana! My little birthday child really wants to go to Red Robin, weird I know but it's sort of a birthday tradition in our family! We'll see if we can get there tonight! Wish me luck!

In other news: I did survive working out! Joy and I went at 6:30 2 times that week. Now we are going to go 3 times a week at 8:00, thanks to the daycare there that finally opened! I had to miss 2 times this week but I get my personal trainer on Monday! Let's hope I am recovered from my illness by then!

Monday, June 2, 2008

Um...I'm not sure about this!

I got a gym membership on Saturday! I can't believe I just committed to a 2 year membership at a GYM! That means I have to actually workout for TWO YEARS! Holy CRAP! What did I get myself into! To make things worse, Joy is dragging me out into the depths of the early morning to -you guessed it- GO to the GYM! I am NOT and early riser! Ok folks mark this as the day I said I am going to workout at 6:30 in the morning. Please remind me of this hard day when I am such a good little person who belongs to a gym and goes like it's my religion. Please remind me of this when you see me and think "Oh boy, I may need to go work out now that Destiny is doing so well at it!"

Please pray for me that I can get out of bed at 6:30 tomorrow! I don't want to disappoint Joy! Please add in that I won't fall over dead after my workout, I am SO out of shape!

This one's for Joy!

My dear friend,
Our love for "Caspy" started long ago, was it when we saw The Golden Compass? Even though that movie was not so good, one thing good did come from it! We saw the trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Ever since then we have been waiting patiently for the movie to come out. A few days ago the day had finally arrived. I heard your heart pitter patter as mine did when he first came on screen. Oh the hair, oh the voice (accent!), oh the face! What a HOTTIE! I just looked on IMDB and saw that he is only 1 month younger than me! He seems like a little boy! Maybe because I think I am an old lady. Oh well that is besides the point! Move over Orlando Bloom (Desmond for you), Ben Barnes is on FIRE! He's the Edward in my mind!

Your friend,
Destiny

p.s. Do you think we could convince our hubby's to take us to Narnia on a double date?

Cleaning is Fun to do.

What? Did I just write that sentence? Maybe I need to clarify a bit. I meant that cleaning someone else's house is fun to do. Oh and cleaning with your one of your best friends is also fun to do! My friend is doing some major spring cleaning of her house. She is a very busy woman and mentioned that she needed hire someone to help her. I decided that I would like a little extra cash in my purse so I said I would help her. Yesterday I started and worked from 9-5! Today I worked 9-2. I'm going back tomorrow to work some more. My old lady body wasn't too happy with me yesterday, but today she was a little kinder to me. It was fun to be cleaning and not be by yourself and be able to talk to someone doing the same thing as you every once in awhile. At some points we each had a vacuum running. At other times we had both (4 year old) kids whining to us. For the most part it was actually a fun time that was had!

She just called me a little bit ago to tell me that she noticed that her banister was sparkling! That made me happy to know that she really noticed my work! When I clean my house I like it when my husband notices what I have done. It's nice to be noticed when you have worked hard!

While I was cleaning I was thinking about when I was growing up. My mom made me and my sister do Saturday jobs. I HATED them! I would have to clean the blinds, wipe the banister, vacuum the house, empty the garbages, clean bathrooms, etc. and clean my own room. If we had plans for Saturday, we had to get our jobs done Friday. I thought that this was totally unfair! Well today I was thinking about that and I am realizing the importance of what we did. Not only did my mom not have to do all the cleaning all by herself (genious!) she also taught us responsibility. She made it so we could appreciate a clean house and what goes into that. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to be able to scrub a toilet and wipe down the blinds. It will mean that I will have live in cleaning buddies and that I will be teaching my children valuable skills! Hurray for cleaning!

My star sighting

Last year my little child had a friend in her Kindergarten class. This friend's mom and I volunteered to help in the classroom a few times together. I was talking to this mom one day and she happened to talk about her daughter's dad, they are divorced, that he is a member of the band Train. I was like "whoa, that's awesome! I totally love them! I discovered them in HS!" (I actually heard the cd when I was at my GREAT friend Ace's house, that is how I discovered them). From that time on every time I saw him I was "star struck" and I never even dared say hi to him! Even though our daughters were really good friends! Well it has been over a year since I have been walking past him not daring to say anything.

Yesterday the school had a luncheon for the parents that have helped the teachers throughout the school year. He was there. I was sitting a few tables away and my child's teacher came and sat next to me. She is actually my really good friend and just a year younger than me. I told her to look at him and tell me if she knew who he was. She TOTALLY knew who he was even though she had never seen him at the school or knew he had a daughter there! I told her that I had never dared talk to him before and that if she went with me I thought I could get the courage. She had to help me because she has THE BEST name! So we walk over there and I say to him "Have you met Virginia? She actually owns lots of dresses!" (I am a total dweeb, I know!) Then she leaves because she had to go get her class from their lunch. Then guess what happened?! I talked to HIM! I totally did! His ex- wife, that I know, was sitting next to him and we all totally had a conversation! I told her that I have never dared talk to him and she laughed at me! I found out that Train will be releasing a new album in the end of Jan. They are writing right now and he is trying to get back in shape for touring!

That concludes my star sighting story. I know I am a freak and that the story probably wasn't that cool, but I was SO happy that I finally dared to talk to him. All thanks to my friend Virginia!

I REALLY don't want to!

-Go grocery shopping!
-To make a list so I can go grocery shopping.
-To make a menu so i can make a list so I can go grocery shopping.
-make dinner tonight, especially since I don't know what to make!
-Clean my kitchen.
-do laundry
-take down the air mattress
-vacuum and mop
-stop eating brownies and cookies, because they are oh so good!
-get fat from eating all the bad things I've been eating
-exercise so I can justify eating the things I eat
-look at my blog layout, because it will cause me to experiment and that just didn't work out well yesterday when I tried that (any volunteers to make my blog cute?)
-have another period again, I am cramping as I type!
-get pregnant so I won't have a period, that is just NOT an option right now!
-tell my husband that he did not slave away for me yesterday as he should have
-go to the eye doctor
-admit that I really need to go to the eye doctor
-wait for Aug. for Breaking Dawn to come out
-wait for December for Twilight to be in theaters
-wait to have more money so I can go to school
-fork out thousands of dollars to go to school
-have both my babies in school next year, I'm going to miss them

Hmmm...that's all I can think of right now. I may have to add more later.

Lost requires TOO much of me!

I have a headache! Watching Lost last night created way TOO many new questions for me! The hubs was so excited before we watched it. He told me that is was going to be a great episode. It was good, they have all been good since the strike ended. I LOVED last weeks! Jack and Kate together was just SWEET! What stuck out to me in that episode was when they were fighting at the end and he said "You're not even related to him (Aaron)". I wonder if Jack knew that HE was, in fact, related to Aaron?

Back to last night's episode. Here are my new questions, the ones that are giving me a headache:

Is Claire dead?
Why is Christian (who is dead) talking for Jacob?
Keamy? What was on his arm?
Is Richard a time traveler, or does he really not age?
If Claire isn't dead than why is she in the cabin?
Why did they show Locke being born? Was there a point to that?
Are Hurley and Ben buddies now? (the candy bar sharing incident)
How in the HECK do you move and Island?

Anyone else have a million questions? If so add them! Maybe, someday, our questions will be answered!

Twilight anyone?

Today is Twilight Tuesday! For those of you who don't know what that means I will try to explain. Twilight is a book by Stephenie Meyer, and if you haven't read it you better go read it RIGHT NOW! They are now making the book into a movie. The fanbase of Twilight is HUGE, they call us "Twilighters". MTV movies blog has a reporter that recognized the huge fanbase so he decided to cover the movie for the all the Twilighters. He has made Twilight Tuesday and today he did not disappoint! Yesterday Summit Entertainment (production company for Twilight) released a "teaser" trailer. If you want to watch it you can see it here. TT usually includes interviews with the cast but today there was an interview with the photographer that took the movie poster photos. Here is the movie poster!

So there you have it folks! Today's Twilight Tuesday exclusive photo!

*EDIT Watch the trailer here, twilight could beat Indiana Jones for the most watched trailer!

My very own!

I have decided to get my very own blog! This blog is for me to tell all my randomness! I seem to not be able to do it in my other blog, just doesn't seem right. I like things to flow, and only randomness flows with randomness! If you are reading this because I told you about it then you know me. If you know me then I want you to know a few things:

1. This blog is not private (duh!) and therefore in my paranoidness (I just made up a new word) I will not be discussing details of my personal life. Meaning I will refrain from using "real" names of my family. (* update: except my name)

2. Please know that I will probably bore you, but if I don't please comment to let me know that I have friends!

3. That's all.

So stay tuned for random thoughts by me!
