This one's for Joy!

My dear friend,
Our love for "Caspy" started long ago, was it when we saw The Golden Compass? Even though that movie was not so good, one thing good did come from it! We saw the trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Ever since then we have been waiting patiently for the movie to come out. A few days ago the day had finally arrived. I heard your heart pitter patter as mine did when he first came on screen. Oh the hair, oh the voice (accent!), oh the face! What a HOTTIE! I just looked on IMDB and saw that he is only 1 month younger than me! He seems like a little boy! Maybe because I think I am an old lady. Oh well that is besides the point! Move over Orlando Bloom (Desmond for you), Ben Barnes is on FIRE! He's the Edward in my mind!

Your friend,
Destiny

p.s. Do you think we could convince our hubby's to take us to Narnia on a double date?

Cleaning is Fun to do.

What? Did I just write that sentence? Maybe I need to clarify a bit. I meant that cleaning someone else's house is fun to do. Oh and cleaning with your one of your best friends is also fun to do! My friend is doing some major spring cleaning of her house. She is a very busy woman and mentioned that she needed hire someone to help her. I decided that I would like a little extra cash in my purse so I said I would help her. Yesterday I started and worked from 9-5! Today I worked 9-2. I'm going back tomorrow to work some more. My old lady body wasn't too happy with me yesterday, but today she was a little kinder to me. It was fun to be cleaning and not be by yourself and be able to talk to someone doing the same thing as you every once in awhile. At some points we each had a vacuum running. At other times we had both (4 year old) kids whining to us. For the most part it was actually a fun time that was had!

She just called me a little bit ago to tell me that she noticed that her banister was sparkling! That made me happy to know that she really noticed my work! When I clean my house I like it when my husband notices what I have done. It's nice to be noticed when you have worked hard!

While I was cleaning I was thinking about when I was growing up. My mom made me and my sister do Saturday jobs. I HATED them! I would have to clean the blinds, wipe the banister, vacuum the house, empty the garbages, clean bathrooms, etc. and clean my own room. If we had plans for Saturday, we had to get our jobs done Friday. I thought that this was totally unfair! Well today I was thinking about that and I am realizing the importance of what we did. Not only did my mom not have to do all the cleaning all by herself (genious!) she also taught us responsibility. She made it so we could appreciate a clean house and what goes into that. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to be able to scrub a toilet and wipe down the blinds. It will mean that I will have live in cleaning buddies and that I will be teaching my children valuable skills! Hurray for cleaning!

My star sighting

Last year my little child had a friend in her Kindergarten class. This friend's mom and I volunteered to help in the classroom a few times together. I was talking to this mom one day and she happened to talk about her daughter's dad, they are divorced, that he is a member of the band Train. I was like "whoa, that's awesome! I totally love them! I discovered them in HS!" (I actually heard the cd when I was at my GREAT friend Ace's house, that is how I discovered them). From that time on every time I saw him I was "star struck" and I never even dared say hi to him! Even though our daughters were really good friends! Well it has been over a year since I have been walking past him not daring to say anything.

Yesterday the school had a luncheon for the parents that have helped the teachers throughout the school year. He was there. I was sitting a few tables away and my child's teacher came and sat next to me. She is actually my really good friend and just a year younger than me. I told her to look at him and tell me if she knew who he was. She TOTALLY knew who he was even though she had never seen him at the school or knew he had a daughter there! I told her that I had never dared talk to him before and that if she went with me I thought I could get the courage. She had to help me because she has THE BEST name! So we walk over there and I say to him "Have you met Virginia? She actually owns lots of dresses!" (I am a total dweeb, I know!) Then she leaves because she had to go get her class from their lunch. Then guess what happened?! I talked to HIM! I totally did! His ex- wife, that I know, was sitting next to him and we all totally had a conversation! I told her that I have never dared talk to him and she laughed at me! I found out that Train will be releasing a new album in the end of Jan. They are writing right now and he is trying to get back in shape for touring!

That concludes my star sighting story. I know I am a freak and that the story probably wasn't that cool, but I was SO happy that I finally dared to talk to him. All thanks to my friend Virginia!

I REALLY don't want to!

-Go grocery shopping!
-To make a list so I can go grocery shopping.
-To make a menu so i can make a list so I can go grocery shopping.
-make dinner tonight, especially since I don't know what to make!
-Clean my kitchen.
-do laundry
-take down the air mattress
-vacuum and mop
-stop eating brownies and cookies, because they are oh so good!
-get fat from eating all the bad things I've been eating
-exercise so I can justify eating the things I eat
-look at my blog layout, because it will cause me to experiment and that just didn't work out well yesterday when I tried that (any volunteers to make my blog cute?)
-have another period again, I am cramping as I type!
-get pregnant so I won't have a period, that is just NOT an option right now!
-tell my husband that he did not slave away for me yesterday as he should have
-go to the eye doctor
-admit that I really need to go to the eye doctor
-wait for Aug. for Breaking Dawn to come out
-wait for December for Twilight to be in theaters
-wait to have more money so I can go to school
-fork out thousands of dollars to go to school
-have both my babies in school next year, I'm going to miss them

Hmmm...that's all I can think of right now. I may have to add more later.

Lost requires TOO much of me!

I have a headache! Watching Lost last night created way TOO many new questions for me! The hubs was so excited before we watched it. He told me that is was going to be a great episode. It was good, they have all been good since the strike ended. I LOVED last weeks! Jack and Kate together was just SWEET! What stuck out to me in that episode was when they were fighting at the end and he said "You're not even related to him (Aaron)". I wonder if Jack knew that HE was, in fact, related to Aaron?

Back to last night's episode. Here are my new questions, the ones that are giving me a headache:

Is Claire dead?
Why is Christian (who is dead) talking for Jacob?
Keamy? What was on his arm?
Is Richard a time traveler, or does he really not age?
If Claire isn't dead than why is she in the cabin?
Why did they show Locke being born? Was there a point to that?
Are Hurley and Ben buddies now? (the candy bar sharing incident)
How in the HECK do you move and Island?

Anyone else have a million questions? If so add them! Maybe, someday, our questions will be answered!

Twilight anyone?

Today is Twilight Tuesday! For those of you who don't know what that means I will try to explain. Twilight is a book by Stephenie Meyer, and if you haven't read it you better go read it RIGHT NOW! They are now making the book into a movie. The fanbase of Twilight is HUGE, they call us "Twilighters". MTV movies blog has a reporter that recognized the huge fanbase so he decided to cover the movie for the all the Twilighters. He has made Twilight Tuesday and today he did not disappoint! Yesterday Summit Entertainment (production company for Twilight) released a "teaser" trailer. If you want to watch it you can see it here. TT usually includes interviews with the cast but today there was an interview with the photographer that took the movie poster photos. Here is the movie poster!

So there you have it folks! Today's Twilight Tuesday exclusive photo!

*EDIT Watch the trailer here, twilight could beat Indiana Jones for the most watched trailer!

My very own!

I have decided to get my very own blog! This blog is for me to tell all my randomness! I seem to not be able to do it in my other blog, just doesn't seem right. I like things to flow, and only randomness flows with randomness! If you are reading this because I told you about it then you know me. If you know me then I want you to know a few things:

1. This blog is not private (duh!) and therefore in my paranoidness (I just made up a new word) I will not be discussing details of my personal life. Meaning I will refrain from using "real" names of my family. (* update: except my name)

2. Please know that I will probably bore you, but if I don't please comment to let me know that I have friends!

3. That's all.

So stay tuned for random thoughts by me!
